Person St. Plaza Block Party // November, 2025
We were thrilled to be part of the Person St. Plaza Block Party, presented by Edge of Urge in partnership with Artsplosure. For this event, a community quilt art experience felt perfect. Tables were covered with butcher paper and a myriad of recycled and upcycled materials. Participants of all ages were asked to answer the prompt, What makes you feel cared for / How do you care for others? on their individual “quilt” (a square piece of cardstock). Once finished, participants used washi tape to connect their “quilts” to those around them. The block party was also the launch of Great Good Retail! We sourced our favorite knick-knacks, books, and art supplies to share & sell.

Transfer Co. Food Hall // Paint a Pumpkin // November, 2025
We met on a gloomy and seasonably warm Sunday morning at Transfer Co. Food Hall to paint pumpkins big & small. This open-ended art activity granted participants the opportunity to explore paints on a variety of different textures. A Great Good Space encouraged participants to bring along their own pumpkin, but just in case, we had about 15 to share! As always, this event was free and open to all.
Dix Park Flower Cottage // A Special Summer Picnic // July, 2023
Our partnership with the Dix Park Conservancy began in July 2023 with a special summer picnic. The prompt? Create your favorite summertime meal from our recycled & repurposed materials. We saw a Venezuelan pan de jamón, blueberry pie, and the classic & ever favorite, burger with American cheese. Through the Great Good Space x Dix Park Conservancy partnership, every event was free to attend.
